Full-Time Traveler Shares Five Best Gadgets That Make Life A Breeze
Whether you live in a house, an apartment, or on wheels full-time, everyone enjoys a good home hack. And TikToker @scary_elle has a few tricks up her sleeve that make traveling full-time at least a little bit easier!
The TikToker started out traveling alone in a van before upgrading to a 14-foot camper trailer, which she now lives in and travels in full-time, with the exception of when she visits family and parks her trailer on her family’s land.
In one of her videos, she shared five of her favorite, conveniently small gadgets that are located in her kitchen.
1. Tiny Toaster Oven
Conveniently small, cute, and vintage yellow, this toaster oven is easy for anyone to use, cooks evenly, and most importantly, requires very little storage or counter space.

2. Pots and Pans with Detachable Handles
Since Caraway first launched their high-end line of pots and pans with detachable lids, many brands have started to create their own, and the detachable feature is definitely worth the hype. Making the pans immediately more stackable and requiring far less horizontal space to accommodate the handles, this is a no-brainer for every home, but especially tiny and travel-sized spaces.

3. No-Spill Sanitary Ice Cube Tray
This item will be especially helpful to individuals who are traveling or have small freezer spaces. This ice tray is double-sided, enclosed, and collapsible. While compressed, you fill the compartment with water, seal it, put it in the freezer, and forget about it. When you’re ready to grab some ice, grab the handles on both sides of the container, and pull to expand it. It will release the ice from the trays into the middle of the compartment for you to use and enjoy.

4. Javy Coffee Concentrate
Whether you like your coffee strong or essentially sugar and milk, coffee concentrate is a great item to keep in your pantry for a quick cup of coffee and to save space. You can control how much concentrate you use, as well as how many other ingredients you add, so it’s easy to control the flavor and overall strength of your brew.

5. Hand-held Milk Frother
First advertised to new moms needing to blend formula in baby bottles, a milk frother has become a standard in many kitchens, especially for those who enjoy coffee and matcha. Even higher quality milk frothers tend to be pretty affordable, and as long as you keep them clean and dry, one frother will last for a long time and will store smaller than a whisk.

After seeing these five items, you might be thinking, “Man, an awful lot of that is coffee-related…” And the TikToker admits that you’d be right! She loves her iced coffees and is grateful to have what she needs to make a brew she enjoys.
But it makes sense! Most coffee enthusiasts pride themselves on either a.) being able to make the perfect brew at home or b.) their barista knowing them by name and saying they’re their favorite customer (at least to their face). When you live on the road and you’re often out in the middle of the glorious nowhere, without a Starbucks or Dunkin’ in sight, it would behoove you to whip those coffee-brewing skills into shape!
Cheers!
