History of Diving Museum

Take the chance to learn about the history of this region’s beloved pastime by visiting the largest collection of diving artifacts in the world. The History of Diving Museum contains an impressive assortment of marine items, including bell helmets and armored diving suits from over 30 countries.
The Turtle Hospital

Located in Marathon, the Turtle Hospital is dedicated to the rehabilitation of endangered sea turtles. Take a 90-minute educational tour that features a behind-the-scenes look at the hospital's facilities – plus you’ll get to feed the adorable permanent residents at the end of your visit.
Pigeon Key

Take a picnic break at the tiny island of Pigeon Key. Found underneath Seven Mile Bridge (one of the longest bridges in the US), this island was a base for the 400 workers who built the Key West extension of Henry Flagler’s Florida East Coast Railway in the early 1900s.

Entertain your inner literary fan with a stop at Hemingway’s home, which has been converted into a museum. The famous author lived here from 1931 - 1939, where he wrote both To Have and Have Not and The Snows of Kilimanjaro.
