How to Level Your RV | The Ultimate Guide
Today, we’ll show you how to level a tandem axle RV, and a single or dual wheel RV, like a pro with the Lynx Leveler RV leveling system.
But first, we want to introduce you to Larry and Connor.
Larry is a seasoned RV veteran who knows that no matter the grade, there’s always an arrangement of Lynx Levelers to make that RV - perfectly level.
His son Connor, on the other hand, has a thing or two to learn still...

It’s nice, solid ground and level, but not perfect. More often than not, you’re going to have to raise a wheel or two.
No matter the grade, there’s always an arrangement of Lynx Levelers to make that RV perfectly level.
“When that RV ain’t level, you ain’t gonna sleep a wink.” - Larry
One Lynx block is going to raise your RV by one inch, but for a two-inch raise you’re going to have to build a pyramid with three blocks.
Let’s start with a two-inch raise. The same principles apply, but it’s just a bit tricker.
Getting in Position
Before you start leveling, you’re going to want to get your RV in the exact position it will end up once level.
To do this, you’re are going to stack your blocks directly next to the wheels you want to raise, and you’re going to make two pyramids rather than one big stack (that way you’ll have blocks left over when you need to stabilize the RV).
It’s that easy. You just stack the Lynx Levelers against your wheel, however high you need to, and roll back onto them, which we’ll explain in our next step.
Getting Level
Now that you have everything in place, pull your rig forward, and slide your levelers into place. You’ll know exactly where to put your stack because you will be able to see where the tire was.
Slide the levelers behind the tires, and make sure you move any large rocks out of the way.
For a seasoned leveler, you can use a Lynx Stop ‘N Chock for the rear pyramid. That way, when you roll over your levelers, you’ll have some backing and know when you’re sitting pretty.
You can also use the Lynx Cap on the centre of your pyramids. This gives your tires a smooth, gentle surface to rest on.
Now, put your RV in reverse and roll back onto your levelers.
The last step? Add your second Lynx Stop ‘N Chock.
And we’re level!

Follow the same instructions as for a tandem axle RV.
Again, stack your blocks directly next to the wheels you want to raise.
Pull you rig forward. You’ll know where to put the stack because you can see where the tire was.
Same as for a tandem axle RV, add the Lynx Stop ‘N Chock to have something to back up onto. For a nice, flat, gentle surface, use the Lynx Cap on the centre of your pyramids.
Then, roll her up!
Last but not least, secure the wheel. Get any large rocks out of the way and pop on the second Stop ‘N Chock.
And we’re level!
